An Emerging Art Hub

The development of the Persian Gulf area has called for a higher demand and appreciation of arts and culture. Governments in the UAE are spending billions of dollars in building a cultural district that will house world class museums, including Guggenheim Abu Dhabi designed by Frank Gehry, Louvre Abu Dhabi designed by Jean Nouvel, Performing Arts Center designed by Zaha Hadid, Maritime Museum designed by Tadao Ando, and National Museum by Norman Foster, all aimed for completion by 2012. The development has become an international hub, bringing together artists, dealers, curators, and collectors worldwide. Everyone who is interested in architecture, art, culture and the movement and experimentation of new and emerging art will be excited for this exciting project. The development of this cultural strip would be a great means for education and development of relationships across the gulf region, across the globe. Sooner or later, the Persian Gulf area would become one of the most important place for the art world. Read more on Art News
