A closer look at YSL


The special exhibition on Yves Saint Laurent's creation of a lifetime will be closing next month, April 5th. For those who have not yet gone to this exhibition, it is held at de Young Museum in San Francisco celebrating 120 accessorized outfits belonging to the Foundation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent as well as the drawings, photographs, and videos of YSL himself over the past 25 years. He was eminent for revolutionizing the haute couture tradition and laying the foundations of modern women's wear, drawing a unique perspective that blends in references to the world of art influences of pop culture and social revolutions.
