Hopes Are High in The Gulf Region

On March 27th, Hong Kong's The Standard reported the growing interest of art collecting in the Gulf Region. With an increase in International collectors attending the fair, Middle East collectors are more exposed to and confident in purchasing in arts from different parts of the world. Aside from antiquities, these buyers, especially the ruling families are expanding their horizons and developing new tastes and variations for their private collections. Individuals, families and representatives from different organizations are looking for opportunities other than from existing talent from the Gulf region. As discussed, Asian art seems to be getting special attention from this expanding market.
