Violently Seductive

Artist Angela Fraleigh confronts the social constructivism of beauty, class and gender; and applies it to where she stands in that line of questions: the complications of desire, power and how it is utilized. She explores one of the most basic necessities of human need: affection and injects her ideas behind the struggles and physicality in intimate relationships, whether the subject in her paintings are aggressively passionate, passionately victimized or voluntarily gives in depends on the whole idealistic scenarios in the viewers eyes. Very interesting.
