Understanding Their Identity

So, as I was walking around Chinatown to grab some good and cheap food to munch on, we walked through the park right by Mulberry street. Aside from children playing in the playground, men and women practicing Tai-Chi, teenagers playing basketball, I looked around and noticed these red painted blocks with portraits hung all over the gated park. Turns out it was a mini exhibition supported by the Asian American Arts Center about Chinatown's identity and different experiences growing up in the big apple.
