I thought having Tom Sachs' latest project, Cameras would be appropriate for my shout outs today. The sculptures, in the form of cameras are being displayed at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Connecticut until September 16th. The exhibition includes twelve works dated back from 1972 until present. This collection includes his earliest piece created at the age of eight for his father: a clay replica of a Nikon SLR camera.
I dedicate this post to die-hard photography enthusiasts, photographers and their muses, or those who are simply attached to any form of cameras--digital, instant, or analog. But most of all, I dedicate this post to my best friend in Belgium, Ayu Peeters, who I admire for her talent and originality. Good luck with everything, one day you will fly high above the sky.
