Anish Kapoor at The Royal Academy of Arts

Internationally acclaimed artist and winner of 1991 Turner Prize Anish Kapoor is currently showing at The Royal Academy of Arts. This is one of his major solo exhibition, surveying his lifework and including a number of new and previously unseen works ranging from early pigment sculptures, beguiling mirror-polished stainless-steel sculptures, and cement sculptures.  His ability to embrace the idea of spirituality or wholeness and create mythologically rich sculptures have in years allured the involvement of the viewer. The level of sophistication in his form and powerful visual language of his work is what I believe, makes him one of the most influential and pioneering sculptors of his generation.

His exhibition will be on view from September 26th-December 11th, 2009
