Sneak Peak: Saraceno and Prada at The Met

Went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art yesterday with a friend of mine to look at the "Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada: Impossible Conversations" exhibition. The exhibition, magnificently organized by The Costume Institute of the museum, showcased the revolutionary work of Prada throughout many years o glamour and high fashion.

It was quite enjoyable and yet, my favorite part of it was the recorded conversation between Prada and Schiaparelli itself. As soon as you enter the exhibit, the audience is greeted by a floor to ceiling video installation of this humorous and insightful conversation. Undoubtedly, I spent most of my time concentrating on the video prior to checking out the showcased design work.

Alas, I made my way to the rooftop leaving the exhibition behind. The weather was perfect to be lounging up top and enjoying the new installation, "Cloud City" by Tomas Saraceno. I have attached some images to share, however, re sun was very strong and it was extremely bright to even look at what the images afterwards. So, here is my raw attempt to convey my visit to the Met.
